dropbox - extra space for testing auto-upload.. again?

basically you test out their new auto-upload feature for photos.. and they give you additional space for helping them out. this same thing happened a few months ago with one of their beta releases.. and I got around 5gb of extra space for testing with them.

this seems to be the same exact thing.. but it was posted today. I'm curious if anyone else has seen or done this yet? I'm wondering if it will award me an extra 3gb of space if I do this again.. since I already tested this a few months ago during the beta test.

if anyone else knows.. please post here.

i'm going to attempt to do it anyway though.. and i'll post back and let you guys know if it works out for me or not a second time.

EDIT: Actually.. I'm not sure if I'll be able to test this out until later this evening.. cause I'm at a friends house.. and I just attempted to remote into my desktop at home.. but it keeps disconnecting me. I'm connected on my friends neighbors wifi with 1 bar and I'm only getting 0.6mb download right now.. and I guess the internet is going in and out since I can't keep a direct connection to my remote computer.. so if anyone else does this.. please post if it works or not for you.

in the beta test back in Feb.. you could earn up to 5gb for uploading.. so I'm assuming it's not gonna be an extra 5gb for doing it again.. they just extended the time.. so if you didn't get the full 5gb back then you can start uploading again until you reach the extra 5gb space.

but I'll still attempt it later tonight just in case.. for anyone else that hasn't done this yet.. you can get an extra 3gb of space on your dropbox though.. so get to uploadin!

Have you tried out Google Drive? Start with 5 GB free and it just launched. It looking to be the Dropbox killer.

yeah I saw an article about it a few days ago.. but I already have around 12gb of space on dropbox.. so I doubt i'll be switching to any new ones.

I mean I might join the google one just to save some mp3's in the cloud.. but I'm keeping all my other stuff with dropbox.

dropbox still the best with affiliate feature, i can earn lot of bonus space

Google Drive looks cool and I think it can give Dropbox a tough time.

Megacloud.com got the best affiliate space. And better features on the Android and iPhone (Yes I got a blackberry too).
