Oh that simple, just looking for people posting about needing work done and reaching out. Simple yet effective I like it. So you had gigs/jobs posted on freelance websites like upwork or fiver and youd refer people on reddit to your listings with a link?
No , I had a couple of guys that I tested beforehand on Fiverr that were trusted. And then just respond to these people who need service done. It can be anything from t-shirt designs, logos, website. Everything that you can find people to do for cheaper. Of course you can create profiles on Fiverr and Upwork and link them, but I don't know how successful it would work out. You can share the Fiverr affiliate links. But I preferred to chat with them or talk to the client and figure out the details and price.
Wait now im confused... I thought you were making your own listings and then promoting them getting sales? So you werent dropserving? You just promoted an affiliate link?
Of course I posted my own offers, but that didn't work at all. Not a single client came that way. The only way to find them is to reach out to them. Beforehand I knew providers which could do the job for 40% of the budget. I messaged all of these people looking for help. No, I was drop servicing. I just mentioned the twist you can do - didn't do that myself.
Okay well I got confused somewhere...
So freelancing websites are only for you. You just find people on reddit that need work done and you hit them up. How do they pay youu tho? You send them a paypal invoice? Then you pay someone on fiver to do it?
