I have stacks of old CDs and DVDs with DRM protected films on them (which I paid for some years ago). The site that licenced the content has disapeared (gone bust, just shut down, who knows). So all this content is un-watchable because WM player can't download the licence.

I know it's easy to over-ride the DRM (in order to make personal copies, of course) if I have the licence, but I can't get the licence becuase the site no linger exists. Anyone got any ideas as to ways to play this stuff?

Good find, thanks Harro, but I've gone through the whole lot and they all require the licence keys to be present. So no luck :-(

I've got a far better converter for the next time I am compelled to purchase media with DRM protection, so that's one good thing.

Edit! I've played with it some more. Tunebite looks like it's actaully going to do it, it even produces an output file, but it is a recording of a screen advising of error code 0xc00d0bbe, for which there appears to be no documentation. So close...
