Driving without engine fan on

I did perceived the smells and heat, but kept on thinking what counld be wrong
The fan is kinda of hidden so never thought it wasnt functioning until discovered by the mech guy
I had just one instance with a cx9 and the engine was gone

Toyotas are really great as it still drove well after it was fixed

I had driven few kilometres over a period of four days

Pray your engine isn't burning out. Haven't you ever looked at the temperature gauge? It should be higher than normal.

Its good as long as you keep moving fast and the wind is blowing over the engine, stopping at red lights or signs is what makes it stressful and a gamble! Glad you got it fixed
