So, I keep on hearing how link velocity is very important but, here's what I don't get.

If you are blasting 1,000 links at once and then submit all 1,000 links to linklicious to be indexed ASAP, that's a bad idea. However, if you blast 1,000 links and drip them threw linklicious at 50/day, thats a better idea.

But, couldn't you just get the same result by blasting the 1,000 links and not submitting them to linklicious and let google find it naturally? I don't think Google's algo is that up to speed on crawling pages since it takes them for what seems like forever to find my sites.

Also, when I'm on AMR or BMD, I just always submit all links now. I know some people drip AMR posts to 50/day but I don't think that really matters because not all posts get approved.

So, do you think it is better to blast all links at once and don't submit them to be indexed or do you want to drip feed the indexing?

We're not talking about quality links here, this is spammy spammy stuff.

There was a thread recently that compared Linklicious and a similar site with not pinging links at all. It convinced me to join Linklicious. I now drink all of the HKSEO koolaid including High PR Society despite someone continually posting negative things about it over the last few days.

Thats actually a very good question, I'm also waiting for some answers for this one.

Hmm no one?

Well, here is more of what I theorycrafted.

-If your gonna be running AMR every sunday and your blasting 5,000 links to your one site, but since its every sunday and you don't ping, you'll have a natural link velocity. All it looks like is that you might get a spike on sunday in backlinks but everything smooths out over the rest of the day.

This is based on the assumption that google doesn't find backlinks instantaneously.

Yes, Google won't find your backlinks instantly after doing a 100,000 blasts on xrumer. So if you insta-ping all 100k of those blasts the second u finish the blast and 0 blasts for the next month then G will see it as unnatural.

If you don't insta-ping or do anything to those backlinks, who knows when Google will find those backlinks. Maybe 1day?1 week? 1 month? or maybe even more. So not doing anything, Google will naturally find links but you never know what Google can do. It might even find all 100k of those backlinks in 1 day and who knows what will happen to your target site.

Therefore, drip feeding them 50/day, 100/day will let Google know u are building backlinks constantly even if you blast out 100k in 1 day.

However do take note, some links are easier for Google to find because G crawls those sites regularly. Example: authority sites.

Links like forum profiles are harder to find so its best to ping those type of links.

Just blast and let g index them organically. No need to stress, the interwebz will be here for a while...

Yeah, thanks. I've been leaning more towards dripping links at 100/day with linklicious lately as it would ensure a faster ROI.

I don't know the answer to your Q, but I've always dripped links, but I also only use high PR posts which are indexed very well on their own, so blasting them would mean they are found very quickly.
