Dreamhost is a lousy service

I'm using bluehost but it's about to expire so I want to try another service. I signed up for 1 year of Dreamhost, after paying, the panel only shows Account Pending. I can't chat directly with them either. Sending a support tiket, the email will automatically reply 'please wait for 24 hours, maybe more'. Quirky service, trashy support.
