Hello guys.. I have to make this thread small and fast.. coz dreamhost is giving hosting with a whopping 95% discount only for TODAY... :)

I tried signing up but the code is not valid for for my Country.. which is India.. I assume it is only for US... so you can get 2 year hosting for just 10$ ... (Original Cost is 200$)

Does not matter if they are sleeping or not snowwhite you lovely lady , i got one for two years with a domain i was going to buy anyway for 7 euros, and it is not limited to the US i am in Europe

ummm... they dont have a cpanel! they have some own crappy panel... that should be enough to convince u...

n i heard that they give u coupon codes to promote rather than affilate links... u trying to promote ur affiliate scheme here???
 
Go to the website. Front page of website. It says enter 220. check your self
 
Overselling is nothing to be proud of. A lot of these host just oversell their services, promising you everythiing for nothing. Too good to be true, it usually is.
 
Damn it sucks they dont have cpannel. I dont what to do without cpannel. So how do enter something without cpannel

had other sites with them for a while now sweetie, no real problems encountered, as for double billing ok for the moment, just use google checkout, obviously the sites i host are not mega intensive trafic wise, that maybe another question, but for cost it is unbeatable, also the guy is not promoting himself it is a straight code with no name attached.
 
I figured out what they do. Every time they get a purchase with the coupon code, they increase the coupon number and decrease the percentage save right now it's at 30% and the number is 226

I tried it on the 10 year to see what happens but no go it only works on 2 years but i done mine also 5 minutes ago

agreed, to top that. they can't handle a wordpress site with more than 3000 UV's per day (around 10k PH/ day). they'll tell you that you're hogging the CPU process and stuff and shut your site down. how can you tell they'll be able to host other scripts if they can't handle wordpress?

virtual host <- goodluck if you're in one cluster with high-band website
control panel <- webmaster here but OMg their panel's one of the slowest and not user friendly
php <- i think they've turned off phpini (you have to request for it) or something like that
cron <- limited
nulled scripts <- they're too keen on this one, even if you have just tested it, they'll email you the next day.

My blog has 5000 pageviews and still it is working fine for me.. I am on dreamhost ...

Also their are bigger sites which are on dreamhost and it can handle 8000 pageviews easily.Trust me on this one.. :) I have been with them for nearly 8 months now... and they were good and also you have nothing to lose if you buy this hosting which is 10$ for 2 years...

you are the minority then, dh sucks, plain and simple, they WERE good at one point but not no more, they are the godaddy of web hosting now, everyone uses them, noone knows why not to use em until its too late

I dont know what do you mean by minority but yes I am 18 :D

You have nothing to lose .. just 10$ for 2 years.. lucky US ppl Should definitely sign up unlike this Indian :(
