dreamhost's support is great, but their uptime is kinda meh.

lets say you take this deal and save $100 on your first year of hosting.

and you have a bunch of sites hosted with them, which make a total of $200 per day.

if your server goes offline for 1 day, then there goes all your initial savings and then some.
(and this does happen every once in a while)

imo, i wouldn't recommend hosting anything important with them, if uptime matters to you.

I haven't had any of my sites go down yet. Even though Dreamhost's hosting is slow, it's still much better than Hostgator's shared hosting, they were a nightmare.
