As much as I love this forum, I have been MIA for several months busy with my own 7-7 day job. I thought I could run a forum without me being an administrator and I was RIGHT. However the forum was not headed in the direction I had envisioned and had no idea what was going on in the forum itself. It has come to my attention that posts were being deleted and members banned when they should not have been and there has been a huge amount of unauthorized advertising. I have never made a dime from any of the Myspace ebooks or bit torrant ebooks sold through sticky posts and announcements on this forum. I am sorry for member posts which were deleted and the "censored" atmosphere it created. I would like to inform all members of BHW that I will be taking FULL charge of the forum again and devoting more time to see the forum running smoothly and creating a Happy Safe and FREE Black Hat environment.
On a side not you may even be wondering why I am working at a day job at all? I think E-junkie.com summed it up best...
"I can't tell you enough what a great resource a crappy day job is when it comes to making your dreams come true. Sure, you have to get up at 8 or 9 am and sit in a wretched cubicle, painted some kind of egg shell flavor of white or hospital blue. Yes, you question your existence on an hourly basis. Fine, the fluorescent lighting sucks your brain clean of inspiration, and probably gives you at least three kinds of cancer. Every day job I've ever had has served as my "office" for my own projects. And each day job hath served me quite well."
So this job I have right now is a huge motivator. It gives me real world experience that I can't get from any website or forum. I use to think $10,000 - $20,000 a month was a lot of money to be making online. I was DEAD WRONG. The company I am working for has sites making $10,000 - $20,000 a day!..And they have two hundred niche e-commerce websites. Now not all of them make that amount but a good handful do and the rest come in a respectful $1000 to $6,000 a day. These web sites have shitty SEO tactics in place (No Black Hat SEO which could greatly enhance their profits) and run by recent college graduates. The company made me sign a non-disclosure agreement so I can't compete for 1 year (bastards!) and won't reveal the company name. I hope this sheds a little light into my world and as much as I dislike having a job, I'm learning more than I ever thought possible about e-commerce....and in the future I hope to share what I learn with everyone here!
