How many of you use Dragon to write with? Would you say that you are more productive using this? Would you recommend it?

I'd say you really must already know the answer? Think about how fast you talk compared to how fast you type.
 
I used it for a while and it is good but I went back to typing as I prefer it.
 
When I type I express my thoughts better and since I am typing fast I don't use it .
 
I have experimented with it and I prefer typing. Also it's weird because it sounds like I am talking to myself when I am at home.
 
I have yet to use it as I like to think, and just think that maybe I would not be able to say what I really meant to type, if that made sense.
 
I use it almost every day and it is good for some things and not for others. For articles, web site content, doing SEO consults and those kinds of things I prefer it.

Emails/Skype and that genre I prefer to type.

If you decide to give it a try get a version that is 12.0 and above (I use Ver 12.5) as that is a much more improved version than the previous ones.

Good to know. I would like to try it out for writing to see if it works well for me.
 
I prefer typing any day. I tried Dragon and the time it took me to have to read over and correct various errors made it take even longer. I only use it when absolutely necessary for whatever reason, like if I'm playing a game or juggling turkeys at the same time.

Well that really stinks that it has errors in it. What were the errors? It thought that you said something else, or were there other errors with say punctuation?
 
Sometimes punctuation, like if it didn't understand the command word for a certain mark. Sometimes the wrong word entirely even though it sounds similar. I'm a very picky writer though, so it's possible that those things stood out more to me than to other people.

I too am picky so this might not be the best idea for me. I am a pretty fast typer so it might not be faster for me anyways.
