drafts and logging out

Hi, can someone tell me really quickly if I logout of my account will i lose the drafts that are saved?

are u sure? because I had read before that *deleting* the app will get drafts deleted for sure but just want to make sure for logging out if its the same.

Don’t listen to that bot. Drafts are locally stored so yes if you delete the app then you will lose all your videos. Now as for logging out, it’s possible that your drafts would stay depending on if they keep the session persistent and not treat every new login into a previous account as a brand new session instead of an already existing session.

If you’re trying to log into another account whilst also being logged into the primary account as well then I think if you “add account” and simply log into the secondary account instead of logging out overall then you shouldn’t run into any issues.

If you have Android then another option is that you can clone the app using app cloner.

I will try all different methods and will update here as to what works such that if anyone else also has the same problem can refer to this hopefully.
 
It's okay to log out, just use it. I've logged out many times, and when I log back in, the draft is still there.
 
Logging out of your TikTok account may or may not delete your saved drafts, as the outcome depends on a variety of factors and there is conflicting information from users and sources.
 
Thanks, deleting the app will delete drafts obvs, but logging out wont. since that data is saved locally (mobile phone devices).

Is there a way to close this thread or is there not a need?

No problem. Logging out doesn't delete your drafts because they're saved. Unless you haven't saved them yet, they're gone.
