I have a downloads site.
Some downloads are in 5 file sets. Let's say video episodes 1,2,3,4 and 5
One page will show a table with all five episodes. But then you must click on each link to be taken to a separate page. That separate page is ONLY for the download link (and menus, etc). No additional information there.
Is there a benefit to putting each direct download link to the files on a separate page?
All of my competitors do this. But I don't know why.
This means getting more hits, but I dont know why everyone does this (other than to stop mass downloaders from easily getting all videos at once)
