That's all settled in prev posts... And as other BST threads show the approval post by a mod before anything else goes on them, I thought these threads would also show a similar approval post by a mod. As the rule is set by the owner of this forum, I thought that there needs to be such an approval post. What's wrong in that?
Now a mod has made it clear (it wasn't clear at all before his post), everything is settled on my side. The importance lay in the owner's thread, and so I expected the thread to be publicly cleared by staff, never expected that the visibility should be automatically taken for granted as the thread IS approved by staff without the explicit approval post. Now I know better. Okay? I was just following the rules, and so I reported the thread in good faith. No hurt to anyone was intended...

You need approval before the thread is approved therefore this thread wouldn't be here if somebody didn't approve it to begin with. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

That also made it clear to me that a mod needed to approve explicitly, and the concerned mod then said this:

In general, a thread can't physically be approved without a staff members approval, so if it's live, It's allowed to be live.

So the good mod also showed that he had actually put the approval post in place but it got deleted somehow. If there was an automatic approval, then imo he wouldn't have (tried to) post that approval post after your OP, but which got deleted by system. The mod also cleared all the doubts then and so there was no need actually to ask me the "why" imho. So at the end, I have to say only this that if you'd only read ALL those posts before your post to me...
