You can download the html aspects of the PHP but you can't download the server side code so the website will most likely not function as you expect it to.

Like the_demon said, you will only be able to copy the client-side files - HTML, CSS and Javascript. The PHP files are all processed server-side, so you won't have access to any of that functionality.

You can never download php files, only the source code html will be downloaded, if it were so easy then i dont know what could have happened....terrorists could download any .gov and osama were never killed
