hey guys i wanna create computer application blog on blogspot but i need to know is it okay to copy the description of the application or i have to rewrite the description to be unique

Google loves unique, high-quality content. Make your own description if possible. You can rewrite it but make to run it through Copyscape to avoid plagiarism issues. Good luck on your blog!

then, what about blogs about song lyrics? whose contents can not be made unique.

I believe you can't help but get duplicate content in regards to song lyrics since that is unavoidable. I suggest you just put a piece of content before the lyrics so that you can have a chance in ranking.
