Regarding the 0 view issue, anyone will be banned from reuploading or uploading their own videos and will also get 0 views. When participating in the rewards program, even videos you record yourself will be copyrighted :)
 
Some of my Chinese friends said that for Douyin accounts outside of China, after a period of registration, they will lock the account and force you to authenticate with a Chinese ID.

Thats funny because I have never see this message after i switched my US phone number to chinese phone number on my main account via some sms verification service. The only thing it shows is that if I abuse their like features (basic feature), I would need to verify using ID. The way I found the loophole is that maybe I hit so much likes in the app that the app bans me from using the feature for x amount of time, and stopped using it. Maybe the issue is also on your part, maybe what your device identifies or IP Address, most likely they would think you are spamming/abusing their app.

In short, they don't want too many foreigners on this platform, it's specifically for China
 
use proxy or vpn to fake your ip to china then login to douyin and buy douyin account to use

Do you want to post your video on Douyin or download video from Douyin to post on US Tiktok? If you want to post your video on Douyin, it is a bit difficult because Chinese social platforms are very strict, restricting access to videos is a common occurrence.

If you download videos from douyin, it's very simple. You just need to access the platform without logging in to your account, then find the channel or video you find suitable, then go to Google to find a website to download douyin videos without watermark logo, then attach the douyin video link to that website and download it.

If you want to upload videos to douyin, you need a douyin account and need to fake your address to China to legalize the video and IP to operate from the country. Douyin is much stricter than tiktok.
