Doubt about Google penalty for purchased backlinks.

Hello guys, I was wondering something: I bought 10 backlinks, and each backlink was added to an already written article on 10 different sites (no text was added, only the link to an existing word). Each backlink points to a different article on my site, making a total of 10 articles. Do you think Google will notice, and could I be penalized? The links were added over about 2 months to a 5-year-old site

if...

- you didn't use the exact same anchor text
- there are no obvious patterns
- someone didn't snitch you to google

you're safe

Given the parameters you mention I do not think google will penalize you for the purchased links.

You don't have to worry if you get the links from the high-authority blogs. However, there is a chance that Google might penalize you if you get links from poor-quality blogs.

Your 10 backlinks are nothing to worry about at worst they won't be helping you. You only get penalties for excessive links within a poor backlink profile for example you have a lot of links from known PBN's, you have targeted the same anchor text too much, you have a lot of inbound links from deindexed websites. Unnatural profile backlinks are what will raise the flag and end up with a penalty 10 backlinks is neither here nor there.

If you had built hundreds or thousands with a bad technique then yeah maybe. But 10 links even if they were absolute trash would have no negative impact. Google have gone more towards the lines of just ignoring bad inbound links these days to combat negative SEO practices.

If bad links would so easily destroy your rankings, people would just send them to competitors.

Adding 10 new links into existing articles might make Google suspicious and could lead to trouble due to how the links were inserted, and so getting penalized.

I do not think it will raise a huge flag to be cautht by Google algorithm. Links are from different sites, each to different page and 10 links not a big number of links.
