It still does work but even if the installer gets downloaded, after unzipping/decompressing, the installer will be blocked by antivirus.

what if you password protect the inner compressed file and put a password.txt next to it (not inside it though)? nothing can open a pw protected file without the password, so there's no way to scan those, not even for Chrome, at the same time what the above guy said still stands, if the AV picks the file up as malicious, it will be quarantined no matter what

Aw jeez, not this shit again. Hope it gets fixed soon. I remember good old times when chrome allowed .exe download.

I can confirm on my end that it's being blocked as well. Hope it gets fixed soon too.
