Need help with this one guys, EMD dot COM is taken, and is a parked domain. NET and CO are available, which one should I go for?

Thanks in advance.

.net
purely from branding point of view.
i havent yet used .co so cant say from serp point of view.

If the .com is taken always look for either .net or .org. The next one i usually choose if those to are also taken is .us since i target the US market with most of my sites..

.net is more known. 50% of people who see the .co are going to think it was a typo and that u meant to type .com. noone around here uses .co lol, im sure .co is cheaper too. net is easier and more known.

Actually .co is more expensive than .net (more than double). So you really do not have the reason to pay double price for the domain, unless you intend to brand something.

oh wow. its a win-win for you then. but like another user said... .co is columbia so unless youre targeting people in that population, would be more wise to just get .net that is used globally.

.net is a much better choice than .co. Many people might type .com instead of .co as one said above.

go with .co :)
only $12.88 atm at namecheap

You are not providing enough info to give the best advice, but it sounds like you're looking at it from a SEO perspective, rather than online or offline branding or whatever else
So it doesn't matter, but I would play safe with a .net.

safest bet would be .net :)
or if you for some reason do not like that - .org

why even .co ? :D
