DOOMSDAY - A thread for SAPE widowers

1. Ranking FAST for highly Competitive Terms
2. Making Money In Short Term
3. Then Ditch Penalized Sites & make New ones.

HH is a professional, hence - I would say that his advice is professional. I completely agree with these three steps. Especially the ditching penalized sites and making new ones.

Ah... that explains it.... dropped in SERPs and dropped from about $300-$400/day to $100-$200 a day. Luckily, I used a number of private networks as well.

Just checked and manual spam action on the main domain.

Time to get a new one and 301.

Time to move on people.Best of luck for a SAP(F)E future

Cutts will be fighting Sape till the end of his days just like Yandex does. It will be his constant headache. Now, he is quite smart a fella but not smarter that Sape. He is the one who popularized the network by his famous Tweet because he needed more data points to construct the co-occurrence matrix. They feed it to the Algo which is sorting through your sites and delivering drops. Now, Sape is evolving NOW. There is a closed doc in Russian that Sape owners have and are making changes already to address the mechanism Cutts is using. Even today with hundreds of new sites added to the network, these new sites are not only priced higher, the donors are also quite aware of the mechanism at work, thus putting the necessary checks in place. Yandex approach is more balanced by the way. Their model is built around individual anchors while Cutts is using a more aggressive model that affects many white hat low authority websites.

That seems like a good idea.

I would work best if Cuttsy only penalized the site and not the actual SAPE links. I'm guessing that's probably not the case.

I'm thinking of doing this too, though. Since I've never done it before, how do I go about thing this?

My site that got hit is a self-hosted WP blog. Do you simple move the blog (files & database) and use a bit of .htaccess magic, or is there more to it?

Would really appreciate a few pointers :)

Yes, I see the exact same thing.
this will pass very soon. just keep patience.

As a newbie with 6 posts, how do you know all of this with credibility?

I hope the Russians are evolving in that direction because i intend to stay with them. I like the idea of beating google at their evil game.

He might be new(er) to BHW, but it doesn't mean is an SEO/IM newbie. He certainly seems to know what he's talking about.

weird...

none of my sape sites got hit...

im pretty sure that those who are affected have done it wrong...

We see this kind of threads for the past 2 years, it will never stop i guess.
Ofc the ones who dont know what type of links to buy from sape will come and feed this threads.
I mean you buy links from websites that are deindexed from google and you want to gain higher ranking possitions? (90% most of you who got hit on sape websites did exactly that). This is pathetic.

You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.

I purchased my links from a reputable seller on this forum and I DO NOT blame him for what has happened to my sites.

How could i buy de-indexed links.... think about it how can a de-indexed site rank in the first place (your statement is an oxymoron in itself)

They were high PR links that I chose to throw at a site for short term gains.

I decided to take the risks, not my seller. And I will continue to do so as long as I'm banking.

If you have something constructive to say then fair enough do so, but don't go calling all of us 'pathetic' as if your knowledge is superior to ours.

Dont manipulate what i write! I never stated "How could i buy de-indexed links.... think about it how can a de-indexed site rank in the first place (your statement is an oxymoron in itself)"
You know what a deindexed site means, or i'm arogant and superior again? Deindexed means removed from google search engine(as we speak about google in this case). How can a site rank first place on google if its deindexed, are you kidding me? If this makes sense to you, i respectfully step back, i dont want to take part of your game.
Even though he is a reputable member does that mean that he knows what links to buy from sape? How did you determined this? I'm allmost sure he doesnt really check if the websites are fine before purchaseing links for his clients. That is why you may get bad results. No wonder.

I buy my sape links myself for 1 year now and i have INCREDIBLE serp movements within 2-4 days after purchasing them. Yes nowadays!

You judge a person by Post Count ? lol

Felt it too, bummer cause I had good ranks and only just got SAPE links 2 weeks ago to give it a go. I cancelled within a week as I didn't like the style of the links. Thought I'd let the links stay for the remainder of their time and now I've been hit. Page one for all terms has gone to page 4-5. Going to ask to remove the SAPE links asap and only pray for a recovery - hopefully I don't actually see a manual penalty and can make a recovery from it.

Sick of these threads and all the newbs discussing the problems with Sape. Sape is not for your money site. If you are using it on sites you are bothered about, quite frankly, you are thick as fuck. If you are not using it on sites you are bothered about, then why these threads every day? People have services here who sell Sape links and you are bashing their services because you have no fucking idea what you are on about.
