"Dont Xrumer your money sites" -- why?

Been speaking to some SEO guys and reading a lot of posts saying not to do Xrumer blasts to your money websites.

This makes ZERO sense to me as I see no difference between using something like SEOLD or SB+roboform and doing semi automated forum profile link building.

Just dont do a 100k Xrumer blast and it will end up being EXACTLY the same no? Do small Xrumer blasts and you will end up with the same number of the same forum profiles you made doing it semi-auto.


what am I missing--please correct me where I am wrong?

I use everything on my money sites, but I just do bits in my own time and don't take the piss with spamming the shit out of the internet.

Go slow last long

I blast my money pages with everything all the time...I can gladly say I am ranking for some high keywords doing it too...

yea im sure that works great for you but dont mislead the poor guy as you obviously either
1) have authority/trusted sites that can handle that
2) have at least domain age to your advantage
or 3) know what your doing alot better than him as hes asking a question

im not bashing you im just saying plz be carefull as we have all been on his shoes before

The usual reasoning behind that idea is as follows:

- Spamming your money sites (may) get you sandboxed
- Spamming your "satellite sites" (ie strong web 2.0 properties around your money site will mean that it is likely that a few of them may get sandboxed, a few of them won't, but your money should be ok

Other (possible) reasons are:

- Google now has a "report webspam" tool - while this easily has the potential to be abused by reporting competitors, I would guess that if Google got a lot of reports about one site (ie through spamming), it would take a manual look at both the link structure and the physical setup of the page - spammy links may be "invalidated", sketchy web design (ie a video image over adsense) may result in worse consequences

- There are also reports that Google is moving towards a "trust rank" system and away from "page rank". While this isn't completely definite, it is believed that it's a combination of algo's and human verification - spamming a money site may put it in the "negative" category in a review (if it doesn't meet google's "tos / quality guidelines), and then theoretically, you're pretty much permanently sandboxed
 
Come on guys! Domain is cheap enough to test every plan!
 
IMO,

It's bad to blast your money site with viagra filled dead forum, as those links either have no value, either can bring a penality.

It's ok to blast your money site with active protected moderated high PR forums, this will bring good juice, but it's a bit harder ;)
 
Think about this, if it were actually damaging none of us would be ranked 3 or 7 or 33. We would simply blast our competitors' links onto porn and chinese hacking sites and take over page 1. (Luckily) it is not that easy.

I used 3 xrummer blasts on my money site including two to inner pages with very few links. First two went fine (50,000 forums) immediate improvement in rankings but on 3rd much bigger 100,000 blast the inner page blasted disappeared for a few weeks but then reappeared top 5 in google for some pretty hard by Uk standard searches like "London team building events" However my site had home page already highly ranked with many links plus had been going for two years

These days if doing xrummer blasts plan to do it to my surrounding individual performer sites which have backlinks to my money site.

1. is that correct?
2. is that 100% safe?
3. any other suggestions?

Was very happy with my xrummer service and if anyone wants their details email me bookings at the - peacock- bar dot co dot uk
 
Oh forgot to say got some complaints from forums too for last blast - apparently it is illegal I think in Canada or Australia cannot remember which

I did this a month ago and did not ping backlinks . Went up 3,000 links for smaller blasts and 5,000 for bigger blast according to Yahoo explorer . Now am pinging all but circa 1,000 at a time. Find I can now rank top 5 on main and inner pages for all terms I want (granted not competitive compared to say mortgage or loan) and whenever add new products just add new inner page and do you know what.

I now use backlinksolutions, linkjuicer, UAW all which I like as programmable plus Sick but having a few problems with it. Most of all I like SE NUKE

What do you guys recommend I use or do strategy wise. Any thoughts or critisicms welcome

there also the fact that a lot of networks (like adsense) don't allow spam traffic, and will ban you if you post spam links directly linking to your money site.
 
some fucking dick from tech soap b0x reported me and about two months later i got a referral visit from jury.g00gle.com checked the ip and it was from india so they do all that shit from india, no idea what the knol is tho. Should block googles indian ips lol
 
You can use tools on your money sites, but I prefer not to use things like Xrumer, Scrapebox, etc on my money sites.

I get much better results building links gradually to my money sites, and using buffer sites to promote my money sites while blasting the shit out of those.

It really comes down to personal preference, and personal testing.

I still use tools on my money sites, but I'm more careful and a little more conservative(for my long-term sits) when using tools to promote them.

Just remember that your money site is your money maker. If that gets taken down, there goes the money with it.
 
You can do it on your money sites, but then there is a higher risk of becomming sandboxed, which would screw up your income from that website all together, when you could of simply created a couple of buffer pages, so your website wouldn't become sandboxed and you'd be able to carry on earning.
 
How does those sites rank 1st with 200k backlinks and no sandbox or any penalty??

think this way : you get a profile backlink. Which in most cases never receive any clicks. it also doesn't rank at all. What is the value of that kind of pages? NONE so a backlink from it is also nothing. When someone visits that profile page it leaves within seconds, so the holding time is crap. Maybe in the beginning it helps a little. Because the profile page is new, and google assigns a default value to it. After a few days/weeks the value of that page decreases, and the value of you 50.000 profile backlinks is nothing.
You can blast your pages with profile backlinks but I think there are better options, think about to place your backlinks on established pages which already receives visitors and has some value.
 
When you've got yourself a site making money, it can pay to make a duplicate version of it. This way, you can do all your blackhat shit on one of them and whitehat stuff on the other. It wont take long to duplicate a site, and most of the time its usually one page of a site that brings in the money anyway. Keep the same template, images and stuff, just reword the text to make it unique and you've got 2 sites to play with and potentially double the income.
