Don't Watch Marketplace threads by default

Maybe it's just me but I find it really annoying to have the marketplace threads followed because most of the posts there are asking for samples and discounts, which is fine but I find it annoying to get notified when someone else also asks for samples of a service because I didn't remember to unfollow the thread.

Maybe I'm just being whiny but i think that would be a good quality of life change to the forum.

Go https://www.blackhatworld.com/account/preferences and look at 'content options' - you can turn off auto-watch on posts you create/threads you post in.

So that is a good option. However that runs the downside of now i have to manual watch everything else. Generally when I engage in a thread outside the marketplace I like knowing when someone replied.

I like knowing when someone replied.

Some of us like knowing when someone’s replied to a bst we had posted in. It’d just be easier for you to hit “unwatch” on the threads you post in.
