Don't use gramblr

I recently started using Gramblr to upload pictures from my desktop to my instagram accounts. Now none of my hastags show up in the search results. Even if I upload directly from my phone they are not showing up anymore.

I did some research and apparently other people have had this happen to them all using gramblr to upload their photos.

Does anyone know of a way for me to get my hastags working again? Should I delete all pictures uplaoded with gramblr?

Author of Gramblr here. I'm not sure why people are having issues with hashtags on their uploads tbh. It works fine for me, but then again I'm also incredibly handsome and things just tend to work out for me.
 
So for both of you when you place a tag on one of your pictures and then research it it shows up in the search?

Also, because you are the author of the program I don't credit anything you say in regards to it because it's your program and there are hundreds of people online that uploaded 1 picture with your program and there hastags no longer show up in instagrams search.

Are you f***in kidding me? Go code your own program. The bhw community is getting pretty ungreatfull for great FREE programs to use.

If you're going to make a program for the BENEFIT of other people make something that doesn't RUIN accounts.

I'm grateful for everything and to everyone that has ever helped me here. I found gramblr outside of the BHW community and was just posting a warning so people with 50k followers don't start using Gramblr and then loose the right to communicate with their users because instagram blocks Gramblr users from hashtagging.
 
I'm having the same problem. I'm not saying that is Gramblr fault but there is a huge correlation. If you search the web you will find a lot of people reporting the same.
 
I've used gramblr all my instagram life! it works like a charm, I even made a website that will automatically square images.
 
Any updates on this topic? Has the issue been resolved?
I've just downloaded gramblr and was about to use it.
Maybe any other safe alternatives?

Several months ago when I used gramblr to upload IG pics it worked like a charm. But if you're looking for people to come to your page via hashtags, then it won't work since it uses a banned/illegal API to upload photos on IG.
 
I've had this same problem and just solved it.

The trick is not to do your hashtags as the caption in Gramblr. Just upload the pic, then login to your Instagram via your browser and do the hashtags as a comment there.

New Gramblr admin here. This is now fixed in Gramblr v2.2.7 released in November 2015. Sorry for the delay, a lot of new tech was necessary

Hey! Just about to give Gramblr a download and try out. Could you give us any more details on how the new version of Gramblr has been updated?

Um Guys I Dont know why gramblr asks for the instagram user nd password upon registration !!!
shouldn't the cdn that is used by gramblr use ssl to encrypt the data?
 
Love all the feedback and info you probably saved my Instagram account... easier is not always better ...

I'm very new to Instagram and I'm even newer to Gramblr

I uploaded a video with 26 # in the comments

Search for a # on my cellphone and my video was item #1 in the recent section. So I guess Gramblr works.

Look at the date, 2013 seriously
 
ISG will block your hashtags / mentions and tags if you over do it.

Vary them up abit, don't always post the same amount. Don't always post them, sometimes more, sometimes less, if you get a block, detect it and stop trying to post for a bit until it wears off then review what you were doing and amend accordingly
