This is the year 2023 and people still fall for predators on Flippa. I got burned too. Flippa claims to not have any investment in what is bought and sold there. Bullshit. I now need to take Whitstone Executive in Indiana into a dispute for fraus. Flippa is of no use to anyone. There are far too many scammers on that site - like a tinder for geeks. Shut Flippa down, or be sure to have a CPA and legal team on your side. Mr/Mrs. Thornburgh, you are a phony

Flippa is just a marketplace - you have to do your due diligence before buying there. Typically when I list websites I get lots of scammers who message me.
Last week I had a guy want to buy my website and pay with USDT crypto - I googled it and apparently there is a scam where funds can appear in your account but they can reverse them.
Be careful!

if you get scammed on ebay, do you: blame ebay, the seller, or yourself. like @That Guy T says, flippa just a marketplace.

Aside from being a haven for scammers and low-IQ fools who are looking for sites to steal niche ideas and keywords from, Flippa is also home to potential buyers who are never ready to pay your site's real worth. You'll get offers that are plain ridiculous.
