This is the year 2020 and people still fall for predators on Flippa. I got burned too. Flippa claims to not have any investment in what is bought and sold there. Bullshit. I now need to take Whitstone Executive in Indiana into a dispute for fraus. Flippa is of no use to anyone. There are far too many scammers on that site - like a tinder for geeks. Shut Flippa down, or be sure to have a CPA and legal team on your side. Mr/Mrs. Thornburgh, you are a phony

Scammers helped build up Flippa. Most of their revenue is because of sellers that take advantage of beginners. I only use it for ideas and niches as a buyer. I sold some digital services websites on there in the past that came with clients. I noticed it was used as a platform to sell people dreams. Buy a $2000 a month website for only $2000 lol

Has someone a better alternative to Flippa?

Flippa had a shitty reputation over the years, and the worst thing is that the admins wouldn't even lift a finger about it. Branding the marketplace as being one for businesses instead of junk websites didn't help either. They changed their prices more than they should and their KYC policy is crap.

I mean, just look at their editor choice and you'll get an idea about what's going on there.

I wouldn't mention the name, but a simple search will get you to one of the biggest domainers forum where you can read multiple horror stories. One of the members even wrote a post about some inside shady job they're doing.
