'm just writing this for guys who are going to apply to neverblue ads, I hope this might help you guys get in! I got denied today, which I thought was strange...

Here's my questions and underneath is what I answered -

How do you market?
I mostly do SEO for affiliate sites, and use normal link building methods.

What niches are you in?
I'm in all kinds of niches and explained the list of aff sites I have (20 in total)

Do you use PPC?
No I haven't used it, I'd prefer to be found in the search engines, I think it's cheaper long term.

How much traffic?
It depends but on average 1k a day across all my sites.

How much money do you make?
I said about 1k a month doing aff and adult marketing, and now I'm starting to scale things up.

Ever used CPA before?
No, I'm only new to it, but I can see some real opportunities to make at it.

Are you apart of another CPA network?
I'm apart of cj.com but I heard neverblue are better so I've held off to join your programme, I'm hoping you's have more to offer me bla bla bla

What would you like to use neverblue ads for?
I'm not 100% sure because I can't see what products you have on offer to promote, but I'm sure I could advertise some stuff on some of my aff sites or maybe if you have dating products I could market that too.

Are you full-time or part-time?
I'm part-time but turning full-time now shortly.

How do you market your adult stuff?
I said I have a website and I use social networks sites, I just leave a link on my profile and add friends etc... I keep away from mailing people.

Do you use e-mail promotions?
No... I have newsletters but I don't ever mass mail or anything spammy.

I then confirmed my address and contact details...

Long story I got this back from them here:

Thank you for your interest in Neverblue. We regret to inform you that we have denied your application to become a publisher on the Neverblue network.

Neverblue is committed to attracting quality publishers to our network, and to ensure this mandate, we screen ALL applicants thoroughly. Our in-depth analysis of your application and the information you provided to us has resulted in our decision to deny your application.

The possible denial reasons for your application include, but are not limited to:

* We are not accepting applications from the country in which you applied
* Business practices and promotional methods are inconsistent with our Terms and Conditions
* Incomplete or missing application information
* Inconsistencies and conflicting application information you provided
* Failure to meet our minimum requirements
* Your site or marketing methods do not compliment our offers
* History of improper affiliate practices
* Inability to reach you by phone or email
* Failure to reply to our phone or email correspondence within a 2 week period

I'm not going to dwell on things, I'm just going to join more networks and don't let it hold me back. I'm just really annoyed because I don't spam anybody and I gave real truthful answers and I explained what I did with honesty... Looking back I'd give yes/no answers and fill them full of shit.

Hope this helps somebody out there get in, and best of luck to everyone,
Gilesy

I have a website and I use social networks sites, I just leave a link on my profile and add friends etc

Never ever tell networks that you are going to send them Social networks traffic.
They don't like it.

Why don't you just call them up? I've never once called a network and not got in...

I see several sticking points there.
Quoted is what you said; below is what I would say:

What would you like to use neverblue ads for?
I'm not 100% sure because I can't see what products you have on offer to promote, but I'm sure I could advertise some stuff on some of my aff sites or maybe if you have dating products I could market that too.
"I heard you have Product Niche X, which I do very well at selling, and I'm looking to expand the amount of these items I can promote."
Are you apart of another CPA network?
I'm a part of cj.com but I heard neverblue are better so I've held off to join your programme, I'm hoping you's have more to offer me bla bla bla
I'm part of CJ and some indies, and they've been great, but they don't have enough items in Product Niche X to promote.

How much traffic?
It depends but on average 1k a day across all my sites.
At EACH site. (Just never mind the fact that all that traffic is Googlebot and bingbot.)

How much money do you make?
I said about 1k a month doing aff and adult marketing, and now I'm starting to scale things up.
Never mind that adult stuff. It never existed.

~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was easier for me because I really *was* looking for more items in Product Niche X to promote, CJ had all of two offerings, and the indy I'd been using had forgotten how to cut checks. This made it simple to come up with the appropriate amount of enthusiasm. As for how I knew Neverblue had the right items, someone mentioned it here on BHW.
Oh yeah. You never heard of BHW, kwim?!
You did not answer in the best possible way.
here are your questions... your answers... and MY comments
How do you market?
I mostly do SEO for affiliate sites, and use normal link building methods.
[They ask you how you market but you answered how you get traffic. Sorry but SEO is a way to get your site indexed and to hopefull bring traffic to your site but not a marketing method. You answered a different question than you were asked.]
What niches are you in?
I'm in all kinds of niches and explained the list of aff sites I have (20 in total)
[Everybody has a strong niche. Just saying I do everything means you might really might do nothing. If you have done good with dating niche... then say it. ]
Do you use PPC?
No I haven't used it, I'd prefer to be found in the search engines, I think it's cheaper long term.
[Big mistake...PPC is the most accepted form of promotion. PPC cost money, and you need to make sure you know what you are doing. Advertisers want people that use PPC --- because that means someone is dumping money on the advertiser's product. PPC bring hungry buyers.]
How much traffic?
It depends but on average 1k a day across all my sites.
[ You have a collective 1k visitors a day from all your sites which is 30k visitors a month..REMEMBER this number.]
How much money do you make?
I said about 1k a month doing aff and adult marketing, and now I'm starting to scale things up.
[You want to get DENIED to anything... go ahead and throw ADULT into the conversation....to kill the deal faster.
and so you make $1000 a month from 30k visitors ...
so 30k converting at 1% is around 300 conversions. so lets assume you are selling 33 of a $30 offer.....
that comes out to ONE conversion a day. They were not impressed.]
Ever used CPA before?
No, I'm only new to it, but I can see some real opportunities to make at it.
[CPA is a tough nut to crack... they do not want noobies experimenting with
their advertisers.... they want results.]
Are you apart of another CPA network?
I'm apart of cj.com but I heard neverblue are better so I've held off to join your programme, I'm hoping you's have more to offer me bla bla bla
[CJ is NOT a CPA network. CJ is way harder to make money at. You really need to know your shit]
What would you like to use neverblue ads for?
I'm not 100% sure because I can't see what products you have on offer to promote, but I'm sure I could advertise some stuff on some of my aff sites or maybe if you have dating products I could market that too.
[What?? did you even read the question... you answered something else than was asked]
Are you full-time or part-time?
I'm part-time but turning full-time now shortly.
How do you market your adult stuff?
I said I have a website and I use social networks sites, I just leave a link on my profile and add friends etc... I keep away from mailing people.
[Social Network traffic is not liked.... because people will spam the links all over the profile... and the social network complains to the CPA network. CPA companies LOVE people with EMAIL list.... a list when done right with double opt in people converts better than anything else. A list when done right is not spam]
Do you use e-mail promotions?
No... I have newsletters but I don't ever mass mail or anything spammy.
[Read the above comment]
ALSO... do not mean to disrespect you or anything but
all your answer had a feeling of you don't really know what
you are doing ... or you really don't care.
The above is just my opinion...
others might see it different...
Good Luck...
It had to have been the adult sites and social aspect, cause I got approved a little over a month ago answering everything else the same as you did
just to add a bit more to this..
I actually told them I made over $5 a month...
and they ask me to show proof screenshot...
so I did... I took just one screen shot from ONE CPA network
and it was for ONE week...
and it showed earnings of over $1000 for the week...
and i sent it to them...
i was approved immediately after that...
so if you are going to act like you make good money online... then
be sure to be ready to prove it...
Cheers for all that virus1.... I was looking at things from a totally different point of view!
Thanks for explaining your points, at least I can see where your coming from.
Assumptions I made -
Email -->> I thought = SPAM so I tried getting away from this, I didn't realise I should of
played this up alot more.
PPC --->> I've never used for my own reasons, and I didn't want to bullshit them incase they asked to see my PPC info.
Adult is my main income, and I showed them my loadedcash account and they were happy with that.
The conversions- I understand now 1k unique should be bringing in alot more coin than it is, I thought they just wanted to know "can this idiot make traffic"
I never realised for a moment social networks were bad, I honestly thought they were fine once you didn't spam or spim users which I don't.
With regards to my aff sites covering "everything" I explained that my sites topics were very broad but they're main focus was on self help i.e saving marriages to building solar panels!
I couldn't answer the question about what do you want to do with neverblue ads because I couldn't see their products, I explained to him how I can't see them etc but looking back I should of said "Oooh I have some great product launches coming up and I heard about some products that could tie in well as apart of the promotion" (well something like that)
In hindsight I realised where I was totally wrong, it's just I read on their site that they take on new guys etc with no earnings so I just wanted to be straight up and I thought honesty would go along way and I didn't want to be caught out bullshitting.
And you mentioned about cj.com not being a CPA, I don't know what they are I just read on another post that another guy said that to them and it worked for him so I just said the same (and I am a member to back it up) so my mistake.
All in all cheers for those replies, they were very helpful, theres nothing worse than when people give you only one sentence replies with a bad attitude. I posted that just to help others get into neverblue but I'm glad I did now when I see all tips I got back! thanks again!!
You are welcome...
I just wanted you to have a bit of insight of what they
are thinking when you applied.
Good Luck
Secret post... was moved to SUPER VIP...
just kidding....
it was a double post.. so i just took the time to write something...
Thanks buddy, I just got into maxbounty and copeac there without any calls or problems, your advice was very helpful :)
Really appreciate virus1 for the effort taken to explain the whole thing..
Never ever tell networks that you are going to send them Social networks traffic.
They don't like it.
that's indeed true. When I had phone interview with Neverblue's guys I told them that I'm gonna send social traffic he said what kind of social media then I said facebook youtube etc.. and right after the second he said Sorry we can not accept you as we don't accept such traffic sources. I was an idiot that I told them the truth I would have told them about PPC, PPV and media buys but yeah they didn't approve me even I was referred by a big time affiliate.
Maybe you are telling the truth but that doesn't necessarily mean that your "truth" is exactly what they are looking for. There's good reason why some(or many, maybe) lie to get into CPA networks.
yeah NW's do not like:
FB traffic
Youtube,
Email,
social,
PPV
Make sme wonder what's actually left. Oh P.P.C. and SEO. That's about it. So you are fightign thousands of other Affilaites for seo and ppc.
Make money form CPA become the N.W. or the advertiser. Or B.H it 100%.
Neverblue is the Country of shit .. This days when i entered my Phone no. During registeration they told me invalidated phone number although i entered it 3 times before when they refused me ... Really wanna to F**k This network
Just tell them PPC traffic. And then when you get them on the phone, ask them that you've been experimenting with other forms of traffic like social networking, facebook, etc. They'll let you know which campaigns are fine with that type of traffic.
