Not sure I'm right about that.
In my country nobody uses cash, even begging uses mobile payments.
Almost everyone uses mobile payments and no one leaves the house with cash.
Everyone gets $100-$10K credit in mobile payment apps, and yes, it's convenient, you just need to scan a QR code to make a payment and use the money.
I used to be the same way, I had a 20K credit line which made me wrongly believe that the money was mine and I started splurging on them, replacing cell phones and buying clothes.
Even purchasing anything I could use the money for, but with that came the stress of repayment, In the end it even took me 2 years to pay off the money.
What's worse is that it got me into the habit of spending money frivolously.
Most young people should be like me and wait to work and then will buy things they lacked in their childhood, but recklessly and beyond their means, you may take longer to pay off that ”debt“.
