So just out of curiousity I entered the term Podcast in Google trends and it shows something like this:

8DEr2i9

The trending chart tells us that voice is definitely the future and it's been trending since the last 5 years. Majority of the top marketers are not only churning out videos but also podcasting on their channels on a regular basis!

Offcourse, the reach isn't that wide as of yet but surely it has it's own set of fans

So how many of you are already doing podcasts on your channels?

Yes. Podcast is using by companies as of now. But i find most of them boring and not able to cross three minutes. So i prefer courses .

A group of white men is called a podcast
For anyone who doesn't know what donjo is referring to https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/a-group-of-white-men-is-called-a-podcast

Let's do a podcast donjo :)

I think podcast take up way too much time. Not everyone can keep up a good convo for hours, and on a daily/weekly basis. Lot of energy goes into spoken content in comparison to written

All my readers tell me to do a podcast, but I'm not a talkative person. Writing has always worked better for me.
Your blog is also in IM field?

If yes, may I know the site via pm?

if your going to podcast might as well do a talk internet radio station as your business.

it that simple.

I got no choice to use them from time to time.

it, not a new idea, have been marketing since 2013 and there was marketing podcast even then.

yt I seems to be tee no1 trend, ppl seem to love step via step video

live video podcasting loved, a lot of radio station do it now days

You really need an engaging topic and probably some charisma if you want to have a successful podcast. It won't work for everyone or everything

Podcast is interesting. Not that I find hearing podcast interesting, I just feel that people who got time to listen to somethings for hours are interesting.
I’ve always preferred to read than hearing. Maybe I’ll download some podcast when it is bedtime, should ease me to sleep faster.

Maybe the high barriers to entry for podcast creators secures its position as a niche? It's a tough one for people to automate...

Definitely something that has potential, Literally every YouTuber has started their own podcasts. People like Logan paul have moved away from prank style videos and are making podcasts with famous people. He has a podcast called ImPAULsive which is pretty neat.

My main go to for podcasts is Joe Rogan but for using podcasts as a way to market your brand, you'll have to be entertaining.

Some YTubers are literally ripping the audio from their face-talking vids and releasing them as podcasts. Not a bad idea.

But yes agreed, talking into a mic is easier for some than others. There's a million ways to get yourself out there. Despite what Gary V says it's stupid to try do everything at once vs doing a few things (if not one thing) with quality and consistency.
