I checkout out the scripting and programming forums, wasn't sure. Ended up here. Mod's dont kill me!

Ladies and gents, I'm a marketer not a developer. I've never had a WP site hacked, but I have had Joomla sites defaced in the past (usually when I've taken my eye off them for a year or so and then come back, lack of updates, they get defaced etc).

I'm working for a large client and I think his security maybe compromised. Is there anyone who can help or refer me to a good free security scan over a Joomla site?

    Thanks

I can't help you with a specific Joomla security scanner.
But a lot of malicious php scripts contain the strings 'eval' and/or 'base64_decode', you should search for such files and have a look at them.

Thanks very much. As of now nothing has been hacked, what I was looking for was more a report of how safe, or, how hackable my site is for future security...
