Don't buy from xsserver.eu

Honest Review, Non-Bias:

So I'm not going to lie, here's an honest report of xsserver.eu. I've been using them for almost a year.
I got a decent dedi: quad core, 4GB ram, etc, etc.
Recently, I've been getting some problems checking small link lists under 10k URLs and other small, small processes. I told them for the past few months, they haven't been offering to help. Every time I try to do something, the server crashes and does not allow me to login. Approximately once or twice a day, I request a restart. It takes 8 hours or so since they shut down for the night, which is really the earlier evening in US/Canada. They do not have any remote restart server like other companies do. I've asked for help every time it crashes, all they do is reply with:

Restart done.

I've tried cleaning it out with CCleaner, didn't work.
For $130-$140 per month, this isn't worth it. I use to have success with them, but its just been getting worse and worse. They use to have better response times, friendlier support and quality servers.

To be honest, my $7 512mb RAM VPS is better than my $130 dedi 4GB RAM from xsserver.eu

I'm open to hear opinions. Actually, I'd like a recommendation of a new provider to try.

As a regular ScrapeBox user, trying to help you save your money, I do not recommend recommend this provider. Some have success, personally I didn't.

It may be something that I did to cause my server problems, but they are in no mood to even consider helping.

Well your review is just being you as the customer. They might have some issues on the server's backends that they wont let their customers be alarmed of what's happening.

They're having some network issues at the moment. I have a few boxes with them at the moment and they're decent. As with most things in life, you get what you pay for. Point me to where I can get your 7 dollar VPS that is better then the dedi and I'll get a few of those for SB and ZP. There support really has gone downhill though, I tried to order another box from them and it took them almost a fucking month to setup. You should look at Hi Velocity (heard nothing but good about them).

If you wanna restart on your own just hit Alt-F4.

Just try thrustvps. I have no issues with them. I been using them 5 months now, The speed is great, Almost 100 percent uptime. You can restart when you want.

I have one dedicated with them, had it for almost a year now. Its been good, had to request some reboots, which did take time.

I got another dedicated with them which was fucking crashing 2 or more times a day, and i had to keep requesting reboots..... That was really shit, so I stopped paying for that server.

But my old server with them is still going ok.

Does Hi Velocity care about spam complaints? The great thing about xserver is you dont need to use proxies with xrumer..... I haven't found another company who dont care for spam complaints... If anyone knows of any others that would be a great help.

Same here. I've actually heard a couple of other negative reviews about their dedis. I've had a VPS from them for 2 months and haven't had a single issue.

Ah, you missed what I said. I said they used to be fine, as you said, but you longer use them so you cannot see how bad they've gotten. It's going downhill.

Jheyslow recommended me trustvps and he even helped me to set it up. He's absolutely right, their service is just great.

PS - Im not affiliated with Thrust VPS aka Damn VPS in anyway lol

I find it better in general to host in US than in EU. The EU support always gives me the creepy feeling of complete indifference.

Its like a family business in rural France. Start at 10:00 close at 12:00. Eat, relax - phew, another hard-working day is over.

Host in the US where spam laws are strict? I do large amount of ScrapeBox and Xrumer, I'm looking for something outside of the US, or I'd use HostGator or something.

My problem with Xserver.eu is that they don't even bother hiring a minimum wage in US to do restarts and answer simple questions. For how big the company is, they are very cheap. But what puts it over the top is, they don't care about anything when they answer the support. They are in NO MOOD to even considering helping me.

Did you try Asian hosters?

Hosting in the US for scrapebox or any software of that kind is not good for restrict spam regulations/laws, but, wouldn't that be similar in the UK? (the servers ThrustVPS/Damn VPS offers are in the UK)... I'm about to leave Xsserver.eu to Thrust since they're much cheaper and although I do regular blasts with Scrapebox, I'm pretty sure I do not use 1TB of Bandwidth...

I'm not sure who to try. I've emailed Trust/Damn VPS and received no reply...

Guy's thats weird.... I was with Damn VPS and I picked the VPS in America because I figured I would get better speed, I used about 800GB out of my 1TB bandwidth and I never got a complaint.

I am thinking about getting a VPS from them, only because so many people here seem to use them and i hear that their VPS are not to bad. I have to admit though this is far from the first time ive seen people complain about their dedis

Well, you gotta consider all the facts:
-Both dedis and VPS use to be fine
-A non-working $20/month is not something worth complaining about, so you won't hear about it. That thing pays itself off in the first day xD
-A $120/month is something worth complaining about, so you would hear about it
-So that could be the reason why you haven't herd so much about the VPS
-The support is universal. Same people for VPS and dedi are going to answer.

Here are some of your BHW peers, screwed out by Xsserver.eu, and your about to go buy something off of them. Personally, I don't think it matters if their VPS are good or not, they have screwed your peers around, and they don't deserve any more customers.
