Dear Affiliate:

We apologize for our delayed response to your recent application to join Hydra Network.

Our decision to improve network quality in order to attract more substantial, brand name advertisers has led us to make some fundamental changes here at Hydra. For one, we are currently migrating all network operations to HNv2, our brand new affiliate interface and improved proprietary tracking platform.

As part of these changes, we have also added much tougher restrictions for all new affiliate applications. Now, in order to gain approval as a Hydra affiliate, you must meet the following criteria:

* You must have been in business as an affiliate for at least one year.
* You must have verifiable aggregate affiliate earnings, through one or more leading networks, of at least $10,000 per month.

If you meet these criteria, please send an email containing your name, company name, and the email address you applied under to [email protected] so that we may schedule a phone interview, obtain additional documentation, and expedite the application review process. Please note the deadline for replies is February 22, 2010. If you meet the criteria but miss the deadline, your pending status will expire and the application will be cancelled.

If you don?t meet the criteria, simply do nothing?we will automatically cancel your application.

Again, we apologize for the wait and any inconvenience we?ve caused. But we hope that you can appreciate that all the changes we?re making will ultimately allow us to bring affiliates new, more lucrative opportunities than ever before.

All the best,

Hydra Network Staff

I got that after applying over a month ago, that email was sent today.

Wow...that sucks dude. Good thing im already an aff!... :D

I read on wickedfire that they are going through a huge business change with a lot of lawsuits etc. I would stay away.

man,

I just started studying on affiliate marketing and heard this network is a great one..... Sad that they have changed the strategies..... No way I will their affiliates now.... :(

this network will bounce back, dont worry.

Damn

So they're technically denying anybody who's pulling $5k/month... shit, even $9K/month

Thats crazy that you HAVE to be bringing in over 6 figures/year to just be considered to run with them. I dont see this lasting long...

iapplied on the 18 jan for neverblue and i still got no answer

All these networks catering to 'super affiliates'. I got the same email. Sure it prevents some fraud but that bar is pretty high. It takes a lot of weekend warrior extra income legit publishers out of the game. With the way things are going they could have grabbed a lot of 'second income' publishers. If I had a network I'd pursue that group and point them in a good direction. At least they aren't cutting current publishers, unless there was a huge ban wave I missed.

Daam it...It keeps geeting difficult to get into affiliate network...I am already having difficulty getting into good CPAs...and with terms like this...I find it impossible to get into as of now...Kindda frustarted with this...This sucks

$10K/mth is a lot. But then again it would be cool to work surrounded by all that success.

bonehead I wonder if your network your talking about starts with ad.....
I am having a hell of a time getting paid from them all of a sudden

Oh really? Elaborate, since I suspect the network you are alluding to pays net30 and you would have a hard time getting paid on the 12th. I wouldn't worry about networks leaving small time guys to pasture. There will always be networks that cater to different volume affiliates. The day no one accepts an affiliate below 10k is the death of new affiliates.

I just got approved to run with them, but to be honest I'm not excited by any of these offers...

clopper if you want to pm me I will share yes tehy pay net30 but payment always sems to land mid month.
Funny network that I have run trafic with the same excat traffic legit for 6 months SIX all of a sudden there is a problem. No faurd EVER and now here is a problem when for 6 months you have paid me. Now they owe me over 4k and theres a problem

so true, it is a good time for a new network or an established one to scoop up their affiliates. besides, they are in deep financial sh*t as it is and who knows where that restructuring is going to lead to. i bet they've been shaving like crazy as of late!!
