Done the keyword research, now what? (noob)

A really basic question, but what exactly do you do once you've carried out keyword research and gotten results? There's a lot of advice on this forum about conducting the keyword research itself, but I haven't come across much that explains what you actually do with the results..

Apologies for such a basic question but i've spent quite a while searching for the answer on this forum but haven't found any clear explanation.

Do you mean you have carried Keyword research and found bunch of keywords in specific Niche?

The next steps is to build a site and write content around the profitable keywords that you have found with proper on page optimization.

Well, what kind of KW have you researched? Can you sell products related to your niche? If not, then monetize it another way; however, it's good to have a monetization plan in mind, but don't be too quick to implement onto your site. You want to build QUALITY content first that will actually offer useful information to your visitors in some way.

So you've got keywords, great!
Now create a website with content related to those keywords

1) Look for a good way to monetize.
2) Write content that makes your visitors want to do what you get paid for (e.g. buying a product, signing up...)
3) Look for hosting and a CMS (Wordpress).
4) Set the website up and do the onpage work.
5) Start getting links.
6) Rank on #1
