I've recently read on someone's blog that they donated money to a cause and got a link on that site - a "contributors" page. Apparently, that "contributors" page was PR5.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Yes my thought is that he got a link off a PR5 contributors page for making a donation.
What are your thoughts about it?

They work, and work very well if you do enough digging.

nice. I asked this because after reading that I dug and dug for about 2 hours and never found any sites which had "contributors" pages with links. I just wanted to toss the idea here and see if others have done this. Now I know it can be done - I'll grab my shovel.
