Donald Trump is back on Twitter!

I think it is justified to get a ban whenever someone is posting violent stuff or asking the people to do violent stuff. No matter if its Twitter, Facebook, BHW, Spotify or anywhere else. However, the ban should be temporary, give this guy a break for 48 hours, one week or 2 weeks.

But I have a problem with LIFETIME bans. No one should be banned from such an important platform for all time. The same shit goes to Google Adsense, Admob or Google Play, who are banning people for life, mostly because of ridiculous reasons.

Donald Trump, same as all of you guys, don't deserve a lifetime ban on any platform.

Honestly, i don't like that he held a poll to decide that, because the banning of Trump was against his principles to begin with, so Trump should simply have been unbanned by default.

In most countries you don't even get a lifetime ban from society if you kill someone.
Twitter is just ridiculous. Hope Elon puts an end to social media dictatorship

Its all social media doing this crap. Really radical. Being banned because of some weird posts is one thing, but for example being lifetime banned from Google Adsense, Google Play, Facebook Ads, Facebook Audience Network, etc. is a whole different level, because it can destroy your whole career or income

Well, i always say: "You can't ban me. You can ban this account, and that's it"

They have a lot less power than they would like to think.
 
Hmmm, I wonder if I'll be unbanned. I called a politician out, then was banned for hurtful comments.

What “freedom of speech” really means is - freedom to be a dick, for rich and influential people. I feel bad for that twitter engineer who got fired simply because he corrected Elon publicly (that too about something technical).

It is right to bring back Trump, but should not have used poll. Everyone should be able to tell their side of story. People may like or may dislike and ignore.

Ha I did create another account. Without getting into the political side of things, I called said individual an absolute waste of oxygen for what she's done and how much money she's milked out if the tax payer. Apparently that equalled hate speech

Its more than just social media that is doing it, there's even banks and financial processing firms that have jumped upon the bandwagon. A whole business culture has developed around promoting and controlling over a certain viewpoint(s). The controlling mindset has superseded the duty to shareholders, and shareholders will get screwed over in order for the company to make a statement about something.

Youtube is the worst offender in my opinion
If a Youtube Channel is able to get sponsors, then it is advertiser friendly. The fact that Youtube will label a video or even a channel not advertiser friendly is a complete lie. Someone at Youtube or even Alphabet, decided that they do not like particular types of content so they are going to make it harder for people to monetize and grow a channel about those content types.
 
trump, tate, perterson lovers are the best clients. They are so incredibly thick, thicker than the plywood section at home depot.

They are ideal marks and there to be exploited.

I don't know how it is outside of America. But in America you can slap on red, white, blue onto some cheap imported products along with a name that includes like Patriot, American, Tactical, Extreme etc. and people will lap it up. You could even raise the price by an extra 10% and say that 10% of the profits go to some foundation related to military wives, veterans, first responders etc.
 
Trump will never come back to Twitter. He only unbanned him so people could see Trump tweeted for the "insurgents" to stop. It's literally to help him in court.
