Just purchased and used for the first time.
I'm wondering, the site I downloaded was a wordpress site, is there an easy way to upload this into wordpress? My host doesn't give me acccess to ftp, but I could do it on a local build and use an import plugin if that works.

First of all I apologise for not replying here earlier, for whatever reason I have not been receiving any notifications about posts made in this thread. I will look into this now and ensure it does not happen again.

As every wordpress template is completely different it is not possible to scrape posts / theme and upload as a working wordpress install. Every host should give some method of uploading files to your site, even if it isn't FTP there should be some method.

p.s. Regarding WP sites and .php sites - this software:
1. recover this sites like .html sites
2. recover like .html but using .htaccess urls shows without .html like it was at donor site.
3. Don't recover this sites.
what is right answer?

I am not entirely sure what you are referencing in #2 but if I understand it correctly this is the correct answer. Sites are recovered as is, keeping the URL and inner linking structure as intact as possible.

By the way, do you make updates for this software for recovering some difficult sites? I used different software for recovering webarchive sites, but as usual, I have some quantity of sites which not recovering with any software(but in archive.org looks like fully workable, just have they own or uncommon Engine/CMS). Some archivegrabber owners tell me send links for this site and they fix it in future updates, but always didn't make it. That's why I looking for top notch software which will work fine for all sites and have good support. So, I want to try this sites with your soft and send links for sites which will be not recoverable. Maybe you can fix it for next update.

Of course I update the software. I am one of the most proactive developers when it comes to updates. In fact there are probably just a few others that are even close to my level.
My other main software, Domain Hunter Gatherer , saw 124 updates last year alone with 4 being released this year already.
If you send me a link you can guarantee I will look into it, if it is possible to recover the site it will be supported.

I suggest one more improvement: please, update the software to delete Google Analytics code (or any other analytics code, Google Adsense code, etc.) from all pages of recovering site. Because I think nobody needs old analytics code, from previous owner. I recover site with 500 pages where each page have this old code, it's hard manually delete it 500 times. Or add a checkbox where users can check delete it or not.
