DomRecovery - Resurrect Websites from Wayback Machine

Hi Admin,

I realize DomRecovery doesnt download the javascript files which kinda distorting the appearance.

Is there any reason or settings I am missing?

Ok I see the problem... Somehow archive.org truncated the .js file name by removing the ?.

For example, jquery.musepolyfill.bgsize.js?4259541792 will be renamed to jquery.musepolyfill.bgsize.js4259541792 .

There is nothing wrong with DomRecovery .. It works GREAT as usual

Thanks for clearing that up lol. DR will do some funny work to ensure that the recovered sites can work on almost any host including Windows based hosts that have restrictions on file names. All should work fine though.

If anyone does ever see anything that they think is incorrect then I would ask they simply send over the snapshot with a brief explanation of what they believe is incorrect and I will look into it. Most of the time issues are misunderstandings with how things work but either way I will look into it and explain things where necessary.

DomRecovery should be able to recover all of the content as it is seen on the Wayback Machine

Hi. I have an issue with downloading.

for example i am dowloading this page
instead of downloading https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/domrecovery-resurrect-websites-from-wayback-machine.842968,
he gives me https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/d...bsites-from-wayback-machine.842968/index.html (www.domain.com/folder/file.html)
How can i resolve my issue?

I am sorry I have no idea what you are referring to. DomRecovery is for recovering sites from the Wayback machine, not for downloading individual pages from a live website.

this sounds like a software i have long await cant belive i have never saw this thrade. i have one question lets say am downloading a site built on wordpress whats the best way to get it live seeing it wont download the theme sql files

DomRecovery can recover any website as it appears on the Wayback Machine. All websites on the Wayback Machine are shown as html websites so that is what you will receive once a recovery has finished. You will not be able to slap a WP install over the top and have it all looking like the recovered site with themes and stuff but you will have a simple html website that can be edited with almost any text / html editor.
