I see a lot of domains being sold and advertised as for your PBN, but is there any downside to using these dropped domains as an authority site or anything?

Nope. I picked up a dropped domain a while ago, rebuilt the old website, and it's getting 6k unique visits per month ever since.

Ah, okay, thanks! I was just wondering if there would've been some penalty passed or something along those lines, just curious why they were all specifically advertised for PBNs is all.

They are advertised as PBN domains because most people build PBN sites on them. But anyone can buy them and use them for anything they want, e.g. Redirecting, building a niche site on them, reselling, etc.
