Hey, so I was searching around for expired domains and I found one that was exactly in my niche but it has negative PR. I thought that I would still just check its back-links profile I was expecting foreign spammy links but I found many homepage PBN links which were very good and look legit. BTW the site is also indexed.
This site is up for auction but I doubt anyone will bid on it and I'm considering picking it up if it expires. But here's the thing I checked the domains ranking for keywords that my site is also targeting all were around 90-100 in the SERPS. Considering the powerful backlinks its getting the site should be ranked much better then this does this mean maybe the site is penalized? And if it is should I still try to buy it and point it maybe not at my site but at my PBN? Due to the powerful link juice it could have.
