Domains in the ORM/IM field are SLIM.

Are you guys mostly going for local name domains? Broad term domains? I am having a HELL of a time coming up with a good, short, domain name that is relevant to what I will be doing and still sounding good. I am not asking for a hand out here lol.

I was originally thinking of marketing myself as an SEO Service. But I think Internet Marketing Agent is more what I prefer to get involved in. That way I can do ORM and such as well. So I think I am going for an IM domain but "IM" itself is VERY long.

Have you only been looking for .com?

Have you kicked yourself before, or are you about to now when you realize that if you haven't been looking for .net when the .com is taken and isn't being used|is a bad site|isn't optimized, you've thrown money and time away?

So many questions for you. Are you looking for EMDs with the words IM or ORM in the URL? Have you looked brandable URLS?

I will only EVER buy a .com Domain name. It is a personal belief that they are FOR THE MOST PART, the only way to go. Many normal people actually are semi-unaware of other TLDs. I have found a few GREAT domains I loved that aren't even being used in the .com with everything else available. I am not sure I could really see myself buying the .net. You are sure to lose traffic to people accidentally trying to find you on the .com.

I would love to have an EMD with IM or SEO in it, though it seems that the local search traffic of my state of "State + Variation of IM/SEO/ORM" are VERY low anyway. Also IM/ORM are VERY long and I can't justify a 20 character domain name lol.
