domain4seo or domainforseo?

If we have a keyword "domain for seo" and all possible extensions have already been taken would it be better to go for "domain-for-seo.com" or "domain4seo.com"? In terms of SEO, does it make any difference? I'd obviously prefer "domain4seo.com" as it would be easier to remember for whoever comes by but then again if this will be harder to rank, I'd rather go with the hyphens.

Hyphens. Hyphens are your best route via SEO, but you only lose one thing by going with the numbered version and that's the exact match domain boost. How powerful this aspect is in ranking a site is above me, but I always get exact match.

To be honest I think you could still rank that site with either domain. 7 out of 10 sites on the first page for your primary keywords do not have exact match But they are also fairly strong competitors. All of them aged nearly 10 years. At first glance it appears super weak, but the fact is all of these sites are about SEO. A site dedicated to SEO is likely to have some nice SEO going into it

ask your self... how many times u see hypens domain on the top rank when u do the research?

if me... i can say very very rare... so because of this... i will go for domain4seo.com ....then if not available...i'll add domain4seox.com or domain4seov.com

u know why? because google doesn't count the word x or v at the back...unless it give meaning like s ....

I vote domainsforseo.org
Still EMD and .org is the next best thing
if U just love .com then
domainsforseo1(.)com
Big G will drop the 1 at the end
the 1 is a better number for reselling the domain later as well and you still have the entire EMD at the front of the domain in the right order.

He said it was just an example. I have plenty of sites ranked with hyphens. Ranked just as easily with and without.

choose the hypens domain! i have hypens domain and it ranked well.. and for my targeted keyword, got #1

I would generally avoid hyphens though.

I've decided to get both. One for the ranking and the other for the branding.
