Domain Worth?

So a year or two ago I joined the Electronic Cigarette craze. I still have a boat load of products but I lost interest since every tom dick and harry got into the game as well. I refuse to do things unless I can do them better than someone else, it cost too much money to be that much better so profit really just wasn't worth my effort. So I quit.

When I was doing that, i bought a ton of domain names pertaining to electronic cigarettes. Some guy just called me today asking to buy one of my domains. CigaretteVaporizer.com -

lots of keyword potential, its 2+ years old, and cigarette vaporizer pulls like 3200 direct global searches a month. What do you think its worth?

Its only worth what someone is prepared to pay...ask him to make an offer and go from there.

I wouldn't pay $10 for it, its potential is worth a lot more than its value - put it to use!

Agreed with delboy in general - whoever names a dollar amount first "loses". Ask him/her what he is looking to pay and see where it goes.

Also the registrant of cigarette-vaporizer dot com seems to have it somewhat well SEO'd and registered it months before your name, you might want to ping them and explain to them the added value of having a name without a hypen blah blah blah. Tell them how easy it easy to redirect one name to another, get extra traffic from any typos from users who forget the hyphen, etc.

Maybe you could get a bidding war going between the two.

I tried, his accent is very very heavy and he talks quietly on the phone - took me 3minutes to figure out what domain he was talking about. I asked him to offer and he said he had no idea - doubt he has much money or real interest in it, but i was just curious.
