Got few questions, [1] Is there a different between .com .net or .org domains in SEPR? [2] What would rank better for the keyword "watch zicky"?: Watch Zicky.com Watch Zicky Online.com [3] How about domains with - ? Watch-Zicky Watch-Zicky-Online-Now Is that harder to rank higher on SE with domains contain "-" in domain? Hope someone can help.
This is an argument for the ages and over time this thread will turn into a YES and NO frenzy leaving you with no real solid answer. What you should practice as a good rule of thumb though is > Get the .com if you can, it's been understood and it is the majority opinion that .coms are perceived favorably in the eyes of our search engine masters. If you cant get a good .com with a keyword rich name... (dont forget to use hyphens) then move on to a .net domain. My understanding is that it's favorable to have a keyword rich .net than a .com that is not. It is also my understanding that a .org is on par with a .net Don't fuck with .infos - Who cares if they're 1 buck at Godaddy - SPLURGE and get a .com or .net for 8.81 at namecheap. That is my opinion on the matter, derived from research, personal experience, and the experience of others. If someone here can provide a FACTUAL and ACTUAL 100% concrete answer of truth to this question please PM me and I will service your penis or vagina; respectively.
there are few points i wanna make 1. based on experience go for domains in following order .com -> .org->.net 2. avoid useless words in domain names which dilute the keyword density in domain like www. watch-zicky .com is better then www. thebestofWatchZicky .com 3. keyword in domain gives you an advantage but dont fool yourself by thinking that it will get you good ranking automatically ,you still need to work and get backlinks
@reqd - So you say its better to have Watch-Zicky.com instead of watchzicky.net/org? How about adding extra word like Online, Now, Free etc? Is that hurts or make it better? @mtravel13 - Thanks for the info, about the [3], yea i know, however good keyword domain help alot form my experience.
