I got a bit bored today and so I ventured into domain hunting. Trying to find some valuable expired domains. Unfortunately, didnt get one and so I went into looking for great niche domains for flipping. I went to try my luck at Afternic*c0m and used a flipping script to find some domains. Fortunately, I spotted a drug/pill-related domain that is valued at $475 as min offer BUT is NOT registered at all. Wtf? Does this happen all the time?

A seller listing a high-priced domain but not yet registered or has already expired

And so I registered it in a flash. Will surely sell this domain and see how it goes

What you think? Did I hit jackpot here or im just dreaming?

It happens all the time. The sellers set the minimum offers unrealistically high hoping for an end-user but half the time they don't turn up. You could have come across a domain worth more than reg fee, though.

is the domain dietpill.net? lol just guessing, but nice =)

maybe!

I actually found another domain, it starts with vaginaXXXXXXX.com
GoDaddy's Appraisal is $400-1200
Hope it sells

lol you can read the full domain even with the blur....

Are you sure you registered it today? It shows up as registered on the 15th.

hahahha, clumsy me!
but yes, not in my name, but it was registered on the 15th by my colleague whos into domaining

he actually sold an LLL.com domain for at least $2000 so I got interested
im still learning

Someone had previously owned it and either accidentally let it drop or didnt think it was worth the money to renew. I wouldnt use the guys listing price as a way to appraise a name, most of those names on there are way over priced. Also, dont take any of those automated appraisal services too serious.
