I have recently moved my domain to a new website and I am so lost as to what to do next. The URL structure has completely changed and I have re-submitted my sitemap to google but it seems that google is still finding all URL's from the previous website structure. Please can someone direct me to the right procedure for SEO procedures when moving a domain to a new website structure. Google also has not indexed all my new pages, they have only been submitted but not indexed. How do I let google forget about the old domain structure URL's and start fresh?

Do you want to do redirect from the old website to the new website

If you want to start fresh you should have just picked a new domain name.

I used the same domain because it has been indexed by google and has a reputation, I needed to rank fast and didn't have time to wait to get indexed. So yes, I need a re-direct. Any thoughts?

What platform / CMS are you using. You usually do a 301 redirect to the equivalent page on your new site to the old one.

Wordpress. I have re-submitted my sitemap but I'm not sure that's all it takes
