This really pisses me off.

I have a domain that expired on 12/31/14 that I want back.

Redemption period, from what I understand, lasts until around 65 days after the domain expires.

That means the domain should be OUT of the redemption period and available to be registered.

But that's not what the incompetent moniker support told me. It should have been out of redemption by 3/7/15, but here we are at 3/10 and it's still in redemption, and they want 125 dollars to register it again.

Moniker, as a company, is going way downhill by the way. They are like godaddy but with shittier support. Yuck.

Other registrars will ask 250 to 500 bucks to get a domain out of that dungeon. It's a service they provide, but I agree, it appears to be daylight robbery.
