For some unknown reason the other day I decided to change the settings on my Wordpress site from mydomain.com to http://www.mydomain.com because I thought it would be better.
I had been ranking ok (page 2 after two weeks since launch) for my main keyword when it was set up in its previous mydomain.com manifestation and now it has vanished off the serps. The site is still indexed and the number of pages indexed are still increasing though.
My question is, will my site recover its former position fairly quickly once Google takes stock of my changes or have I screwed my position for a while?
Should I change back to mydomain.com or sit it out and wait for the http://www prefix to take effect?
Any insight will be much appreciated.
Thanks!
