Is it safe to search a 4 letter domain with GoDaddy, with a purpose of reselling.

If you are searching for.com, all 4 letters are already taken. It's better if you use another registrant the check the availability anyway, there are multiple cases when someone searched a domain on godaddy and after few minutes they were already taken.

This happened 3 to 4 times with me. I thought it to be a co-incidence.

idk what you mean by safe but if you're looking to buy a 4 letter domain from godaddy there's some for sale almost everyday on the auctions auctions.godaddy.com I'm seeing ending soon ncbm.org, blt4.com, lewn.com, sbac.com, lots of em I use expireddomains.net to check many sellers other than godaddy too

I would not use godaddy for anything with all the neg reviews about them. Use a host like namecheap for domain names.
