Domain Search/Analysis

Could someone please direct me to some good search tools for domains? preferably free ones.


I want to find out details such as the competition, how many links the competition has, I want to find some good EMD keywords in some select areas where I would be able to write all my own content for niche sites.

come on guys, there must be some useful free tools.
