Domain registration (weird)

So I got a great domain from scrape having pt extention.Now when I check these domain some registrars show available while some not.For ex. netim shows avail. while gandhi show unavail.
Whois has no record of it.
Does anyone of you know why such a thing would ever happen?

Because is a country extension

Depends on the registrars, not all registrars have all extensions available.

Actually I've been searching only on those registrars that provide pt domain.Like gandhi do serve pt extention.Still its unavailable.

A small update...I contacted netim and here is their response
"The domain name is forbidden by the registry and cannot be registered.".The domain name was mnarteantiga-ipmuseus dot pt. Though it seems obvious looking at its high authoritative links
