Yes, namecheap's whois privacy protection is free at registration. If you use WGSPECIAL for the coupon code, you get it for only 99cent/year after that.
Godaddy is a joke. Only reason I have a few domains with them is because they aren't worth paying for the transfer.
Until GoDaddy stops raping people on privacy, I will always say they suck.

are you sure this works? I am noticing namecheap is robbing everyone at 9.99 a domain I believe and NO COUPONS EVER. whois protection + domains is a bitch the 2nd year...esp if you have bulk domains. I dunno im paying for it now... go internet.bs for the cheapest ive seen and no one can compete with it
